The facility, which is both conveniently located and quiet, is divided into two buildings. On the one hand, the life and health centre comprises an existing building from the 1950s. It is a former community centre whose façade and main staircase are listed buildings. Inside the comprehensively renovated building, 22 units for service living are being built – an increasingly popular form of living that combines extensive independence and comprehensive security for senior citizens. An outpatient nursing service will move into the ground floor, and there will also be a common room and a supply kitchen for the entire facility.

In the immediate vicinity of the old building, a new building with three full storeys and a staggered storey is being constructed in harmony with the existing building. While another eleven service apartments will be built on the staggered floor, the building offers 18 day care places on the ground floor as well as space for 80 inpatient care units. These are arranged according to the residential group principle. An integrated cafeteria on the ground floor, large balconies and terraces as well as attractive landscaped outdoor areas complete this facility rooted in the area.
